Last night I watched the movie Match Point for the third time in my life and like certain things in life, it just gets better with age.
Match Point is arguably Woody Allen's best movie since Crimes and Misdemeanor, and easily his best work of the new millennium (Scoop was such an embarrassment). Fair warning: the film's pace is slower than most, so those out there with quickly fading attention need not see this movie. Now, I am not here to spoil anything, but the film's climax and resolution are quite shocking and thought provoking. Give it a chance. Who knows, it may end up being your favorite movie.
